The website price is a one-time fee for designing, building and launching your website. Essential costs €250, Professional costs €500 and Custom costs €800. Every website also includes Marl Care at €59 per month while it is hosted and technically managed by Marl. This covers the ongoing hosting, maintenance and technical management of the website after launch.
Marl Care is required while your website is hosted and technically managed by Marl. It means we continue looking after the technical side of the website after launch instead of simply handing it over and disappearing. If you later decide to move the website elsewhere, you can end Marl Care and request a handover.
Marl Care includes managed hosting, SSL, regular backups, technical monitoring, security and dependency updates, performance checks, domain and DNS assistance and support for hosting-related technical issues. New pages, major content changes, redesign work and additional functionality are not included unless specifically agreed.
You do. Whenever possible, your domain is registered in your name or your business's name. Marl can configure and manage the technical settings for you, but ownership remains with you.
Yes. Your logo, photographs, written content and other brand assets remain yours. Once the website project has been paid in full, you also own the agreed custom website work and receive the relevant access. Third-party software, plugins, fonts and services remain subject to their own licence terms.
We will normally need your business information, services, prices, contact details, logo and any photos or existing brand material you have. For Professional and Custom projects, we can also polish and structure the text you provide so it works better on the website. If you need extensive copywriting, professional photography, translation or additional content creation, this can be quoted separately.
Most Essential websites can be completed within approximately 7 to 10 working days. Professional websites usually take around 10 to 15 working days. Custom projects depend on the functionality required and may take longer. The timeline starts once the initial payment and the content needed to begin have been received. Delayed feedback or missing content can extend the delivery date.
Yes. Content updates, new pages, design changes and additional functionality can be requested after launch and quoted according to the work required. Technical issues covered by Marl Care are handled as part of the monthly service.
Yes. Marl Care does not give Marl ownership of your website or domain. If you decide to move elsewhere, we can provide the agreed website files, accounts and access required for a reasonable handover once all outstanding invoices have been paid. Marl hosting, maintenance and technical support end when Marl Care ends.
Yes. The Custom plan can include an online store with product management, shopping cart and secure online payments. The exact setup depends on the products, payment provider, shipping requirements and any integrations the business needs.
Yes. Multilingual websites can be built when required. The exact scope depends on the amount of content and number of languages. Translation itself is not automatically included unless specifically agreed.
